Welcome!

I grew up in a small American Dream town before embarking on travels to the ends of the earth to explore some of life's deepest questions. At the time I didn't think of what I was doing as looking for answers to deep questions. I just wondered about a lot of things, and the more I journeyed, the deeper my questions began to run. Soon enough I was in the realm of social justice issues, warfare and a CIA chase, then spiritual phenomena, religion and later, what some people would call mystical experiences. To me it all seemed like a natural path.

The kinds of questions I ended up asking included why do people make war, where does racism come from, do all religions lead to the same God, what's the secret of true love, and what gives people the greatest joy and satisfaction in life? If these kinds of questions interest you, you may enjoy my website.

My new book of memoirs, Upward Falling, will be released November 1. You can preorder it for a substantial discount here.[LINK TO PREORDER PAGE]

About me

Tom cropped vignette

My name is Tom Miller. I've written about a lot of things throughout my life, but very little of it for a broad audience. Things like business plans, new technology research, high tech futures, and customized marketing studies for start up companies that invented new-to-the-world digital products and services. On the side I became an avid journaler and dabbled in poetry.

Both my life and professional adventures shared one thing in common, an interest in looking beyond familiar boundaries to see what lies beyond the veil of everyday life. In due course this curiosity took me into the realm of cross-cultural expressions of spirituality and religion. You'll find that story in my memoir, Upward Falling.

My life's mission ultimately became to pursue and experience the reality of what most people call God and share what I've learned. For me, there's no greater joy, peace and hope. It's not about religion. It's about knowing and being inwardly connected with the Source of Life as we know it. It's about being grounded in realities that can't be seen except in your spirit, yet which can be expressed through how we choose to live to make a positive difference in life.

I hope what I've written gives you joy, peace, courage and motivation to do just that -- make a positive difference in life!
