Tom and Elizabeth Miller

About

Growing up in a small Ohio town, I was blessed with a good father, a mother who loved to read, and great English teachers who infused me with a love of words and their power to move hearts and minds. Although math was my easiest subject (because my dad enjoyed teaching me math shortcuts), I dropped it altogether in college in favor of subjects that couldn't be reduced to formulas. I've been writing about a wide variety of things ever since.

Today, more and more people seem to prefer audio books over the written word, and podcasts over books. Even so I still love the look, feel and sheer impact of books full of written words! And will always love to write.

Speaking about my personal life, it was no doubt providence that I would marry an editor's daughter. My wife Geordie Elizabeth and I have been married 36 years. Marriage is a big deal and a spiritual way of life for us. Geordie is a prophetic harpist who loves to take her portable harp wherever she goes, to play and inspire strangers. We enjoy traveling and teaching together. To learn more, please visit her website: worshipharp.com.

We have one daughter who is married, and we were part of raising two other children from my first marriage that didn't work out. My wife especially enjoys children and has had many students over the years, including music students as well as our daughter, Hannah, whom she homeschooled.

You can read more about all this in my memoir Falling Upward.

My life's mission became to pursue and experience the reality of God and share what I have learned to help others do the same. There's no greater joy, peace and hope than knowing the Living God of the Bible and God's Messiah, Jesus. He welcomes everyone who turns to Him with wide open arms.

It's not about religion. It's about knowing and being inwardly connected with the Source of Life as we know it. It's way better than the world presumes to think or imagine.

This is a new website, to which I will be adding fresh articles on a regular basis. You can sign up here to receive notices of new writings. I promise I won't inundate you with endless stuff.
